HEAD BIRD IN CHARGE

I'm Karin Beuerlein, writer and content strategist, and I own this joint. I created Ciris Content to merge my passion for environmental conservation with my 25-year track record in creating digital content.

Why did I wait 25 years to focus exclusively on what I love? Beats me! But let’s not look backward. This venture is about the future and what you’re doing to make it better. Hero, you have an important story to share with the world, and I’m excited—at long last—to help you tell it.

Ciris Content takes its name from the painted bunting, Passerina ciris. The first one ever seen in Knox County, Tennessee, rode a January snowstorm into my backyard and charmed the pants off all who beheld him.  If you ask a Latin scholar, “ciris” is pronounced KEER-is, but I don’t talk to any Latin scholars, so I pronounce it SEER-is.

SEER-is KON-tent. And KARE-in BURR-line, while we're at it.
